Giant Sequoia Project

The Giant Sequoia Trees of California’s Central Valley are the largest trees (by volumn) in the world and only grow in the high sierras of California in a belt at an elevation of 6,000 to 7,000 feet, as the crow flies of about 160 miles from the “Trail of 100 Giants” on the Kern County/Tulare County line to the Placer Big Trees Grove in Placer County.
